Pete Gianino's primary areas of legal practice include: Real Estate, Contract Matters, Civil Litigation, and Immigration. He has served as an attorney with a very reputable Clayton law firm since 2001 before joining Riezman Berger in 2019. Pete is AV preeminent rated attorney through Martindale-Hubbell, and has been named, on multiple occasions, as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers magazine, and then as a "Super Lawyer" by the same publication in 2017 - 2024.
He has successfully coordinated numerous real estate transactions. Additionally, has litigated a wide range of civil matters, including real estate, probate, contract, commercial, and several other types of disputes. Pete's experience with courts across the U.S. includes the Missouri State Trial and Appellate courts, the Executive Office for Immigration Review, the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the 5th and 8th Circuit U.S. Courts of Appeals, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. His immigration practice has touched clients from approximately 70 countries around the world.
Pete co-created an upper level course at Washington University School of Law and then served there as an adjunct Professor in 2011, 2012, and 2013. He co-authored a Missouri Bar Guidebook about important immigration issues in family law matters. Pete has spoken to numerous audiences on legal topics. He has presented at several local and national continuing legal education events and human resources conferences. Many universities, notably Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Bradley University, and St. Louis University, along with numerous others, have invited him to speak to on a variety of international topics. He has been interviewed on Fox 2 News and on KMOX radio for information about important legal matters.
He has been actively involved in the community outside of the law office. For example, he has served as the president of the Board of Advisors for the Mid-County YMCA and as the President for the Men’s Club of Sacred Heart of Valley Park. He also was a past President of BNI Central Corridor Chapter. Currently, he serves on the Advisory Board of Mater Media and is a licensed Metro STL Referee.
