Theodore D. Dearing
Theodore (“Ted”) Dearing has earned an AV® Preeminent(TM) Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest recognition possible in the legal industry, for his professionalism and ethics. Ted has been selected as one of the Best Attorneys in St. Louis and as one of the “Top 100 St. Louisans to know to succeed in business” by Small Business Monthly. Although it is somewhat rare in today’s environment, Ted continues to maintain a “general civil practice” and does not specialize in any one particular area. After many years of practice, this enables him to identify and address many issues that a specialist might not recognize or be able to resolve. Ted has extensive experience in all aspects of estate planning, including trusts, wills and powers of attorney. Ted assists both individuals and business clients with a wide variety of civil litigation, business planning and other legal issues. He also handles all aspects of estate administration, including probate estates, guardianships, conservatorships as well as trust and estate disputes and litigation.
The small family firm with respect to which Ted was a principal prior to joining Riezman Berger on 1/1/2024 was also honored as one of the Best Firms in St. Louis by Small Business Monthly in 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
